VICENTE DOMINGUEZ
Saxophonist Sevilla, Vicente Dominguez started in the jazz saxophonist and student of black Abdu Salim, based in Seville in the eighties. Subsequently has perfected his training in various workshops and seminars with Sambeat Perico, Rogerio Sousa and Carles Benavent. In 1994, moving to Germany where he continues to train and collaborate with musicians such as Carlos Checa and Gunter Schneider. Way back to Seville with bassist Stanislao Walflar the group "Mejunje", performing in various jazz festivals in the province (Festival de jazz de MorĂ³n, Two Sisters) and being selected in 2001 for the concert tour of the Provincial " Jazz in the Province ". It is compatible with
their performances of jazz fusion to flamenco, becoming a close associate on various projects from the hand of the Montoya and as a studio musician and live with the singer Ana Reverte.
Precisely this aspect of fusion is what has allowed greater projection, coming to give concerts in Japan (six month tour), Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In rock, which also moves with ease, has recently won part of the group La Selva last year's contest DYC. Today is part of Seville Command Contreras.
