PEDRO ITURRALDE

pedroiturraldePedro Iturralde (Fakes, Spain), is one of the pioneers of jazz musicians in Spain. She studied saxophone at the Conservatory of Music in Madrid, with eighteen years, arranging the studies of clarinet, piano, violin and armonía.Tras eight years touring Europe, returns to Madrid to act for several years in the “Whiskey Jazz Club”, with figures such as Donald Byrd, Lee Konitz, Hampton Hawes, Gerry Mulligan, and Tete Montoliu. In 1967, Joachim E. Berendt, requires you to perform with his sextet (Paco de Lucía on guitar) at the Berlin Jazz Festival with the premiere of his most ambitious musical project “Jazz Flamenco.” Works in Lugano and many other festivals and the European Union Radio with “Start All Big-Band” in the “Playhouse Theater in London and the” Palau “in Barcelona.
