Dick Hyman
Dick Hyman, was born in New York, 8 March 1927. Multifaceted musician and composer, piano virtuoso, and able to play all styles of jazz from ragtime, to bebop and interpreting the music of Scott Joplin or Cecil Taylor. He studied at Columbia University and played with figures renowned jazz, including Teddy Wilson, Red Norvo (1949) and Benny Goodman (1950).
