Born in Badalona, Santi Galán pianist, studied music at the Conservatory of Barcelona, Santa Coloma de Gramanet and Badalona, where he studied music theory, harmony, choral singing … and piano teachers as Porter Ramon. With Professor Lluis Verges conducted surveys of modern harmony, arranged for orchestra and big band, and counterpoint. He has also attended courses with teachers as Lluís Vidal, J. Amargós Albert, Michel Camilo, Chick Corea, Maria Schneider, etc … At the same time, a degree in Biology from the University of Barcelona and Higher Grade of compositions and arrangements in modern music by INCANOP.
