JAVIER GALISTEO

javiergalisteoGalisteo Javier was born in Vitoria-Gasteiz on 20 February 1967. In 1982 he moved to Seville where he resides since then. After having visited several formations of Blues and Rock and Roll in 1993 into the world of jazz with the quintet "Simone" with which he plays weekly at the now defunct jazz club "The Sun" from Sevilla for a long time. In 2002 Javier Galisteo is selected by the Ministry of Culture of the Junta de Andalucia to play at the Andalusian circuit of Music 2003 (which it does with musicians from Seville) and which was widely accepted by the public and critics .

That same year achieved a record with some of its

themes. This means having first-rate musicians. The Seville while living in Madrid Jimmy Castro, with whom Bill has some friends he intends to do with Chema Saiz and Richie Ferrer with the drummer has just returned from a tour of Mexico. After some trials in Madrid the group debuted at the Festival de Jazz de Punta Umbria in June 2003.

The day after the concert was put on studies of high frequency of Seville and recorded the album "Silent Night", published in November 2003, of which 1,000 copies are made to sell at gigs and also and especially for promotion.
