A dance teacher issued primarily in the realm of ballroom dancing dance lessons and dance training in the appropriate dance classes for its dance students. As a prerequisite for professional training as a dance teacher at one of the groups have completed schooling and the completion is the 18th Ans. A police clearance and a medical certificate must be submitted. The vocational training for dance teachers in ADTV has a duration of 3 years and may be supplemented, as for example the "Children's dance teacher ADTV" or "dance instructor ADTV" with additional special training. The training at the BDT to the "BDT dance teacher" also takes three years to complete and can be complemented by training opportunities. Nevertheless, the profession of dance teachers in Germany is not yet recognized as formal training.
