Neighbours see red over all-night club

CITY centre residents are hoping to call time on plans for a new all-night venue they fear will make their lives a misery.

Owners of the Ruby Lounge, Carver Street, want to develop a club called Cellar 35 beneath the existing bar, to serve drinks and play music until 8am on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

It would also be open until 4am on Monday and 3.30am on Tuesday t

City Leisure has applied to Sheffield Council’s licensing board for permission to go ahead with the development, in the heart of Sheffield’s party-going district.

But people living in Cambridge Court flats, around the corner, are far from happy with the proposal – saying they suffer enough disturbance already.
