Trio debuts with Jazzbel Fusion White

jazzbel1-300x300Fusion Trio Jazzbel arises in early 2002 in Peru, but not yet two years later when the band begins to occur in society and in several actions that would shape the issues their first album, which until now had been distributed in circles very reduced, but since mid-March is available to anyone on the Internet.

The jazz summer

ESPAÑA-JAZZThe International Jazz Festival of Peniscola is already defined the parameters of its programming, which will run throughout the month of July. The series will feature eight concerts, which will stage the Palau de Congressos, the cafeteria of the building and the Piazza Santa Maria. Furthermore, it has also organized a series of parades by the Jazz Street Marching Band, for the evenings of the days of jazz-concert and workshop, to be led by soloists performing in the Piazza Santa Maria in the afternoon of Thursday, 9, 16 and 23 July.

Barbra Streisand and Diana Krall together in one album

barbra-streisand-diana-krallIt is clear that this is the union of two great musicians. Barbra Streisand prepares to launch a new jazz album called ‘Love Is The Answer’ (Love is the answer). Its release marked the 29th September has collaborations jazz pianist Diana Krall prestigious.

In an official statement to the media at Columbia Records says the album shows the artist as a jazz cabaret singer with a great emotional purity, depth and maturity. Jan Mehrdad record a tribute album to Duke Ellington

jan1Trumpeter has announced that Iran shut up studies from next December to record 14 songs in tribute to the pianist Duke Ellington.

During his world tour in which he performed over 300 concerts last year 2008 (mostly from Eastern European countries), trumpeter Mehrdad Jan versioning expressed particular interest in issues of pianist Duke Ellington, one of the most important classics of jazz history.

In all his actions always heard works such as “Satin Doll” or “The Nutcracker Suite”, played it themselves in a context of contemporary jazz that combined the traditional line on par with modern electronic sounds of drums in a style that purists classified as a bridge between the Chill Out and Traditional Jazz. ST Fusion and Henna Hito Trio continue their Japanese tour

Tatiana Janer: a surprise jazz

Slightly less than 500 copies of the album ‘My One And Only Love’ rested for two years under the bed of the married Germain Herrera and Tatiana Janer.
