Robert “Bobby” McFerrin was born in New York in 1950 from a family of opera singers. The passion for the piano begins early and soon altrattento Robert creates his first band, the Bobby Mack Quartet. In 1978 he joined in ‘Astral Project in New Orleans, while in 1981 reaches its first big success at the Kool Jazz Festival in New York.
